  Nice to have a donut shop near home and work. I didn't know they also have Chinese food - fried rice and chow mein were even ready in the morning and we could see more being made in the back - will definitely be coming to check that out. 4 item combo was advertised for $5.99 - what?!?
  
  Anyway, back to the donuts. There wasn't a huge assortment to choose from but that didn't really bother me; all the basics were there. We tried the donut holes (they were fat which makes sense since the raised donuts were big and fluffy), glazed twist, cream filled chocolate, and a cinnamon roll. Unfortunately, the cinnamon roll was not fresh. It was still good. I wish people would tell you when something isn't fresh baked that day. The raised donuts are a little denser than my favorite BUT not greasy which is really important. They also don't put a ton of glaze. I actually like this but my daughter was a little disappointed. My fave here was the cream filled - but next time I'll ask for extra cream. It wasn't pre-filled; the cream was added when I ordered it. My girl said next time she'll try a jelly filled.
  
  Service was good. We could see early morning downtown workers coming and going and found service to be quick. The shop is small: a few tables to the left and right as you enter, Chinese food at a separate counter to the left and donuts at the back.
